launchlabs is an owner-managed innovation studio based in Berlin Kreuzberg with offices in Basel, Bratislava, Madrid and Sofia. Since 2012, we have been accompanying our clients on their way to a culture of innovation that is characterised by agile collaboration between people at eye level. As process facilitators, we rely on an approach that integrates tools from Scrum, Design Thinking, Lean Start-Up and Objectives and Key Results in a meaningful way.
In order to achieve the greatest possible impact of our actions, we have also been developing and designing our own innovative products for several years. We have already created solutions for the analogue world, but also developed them for digital and hybrid contexts to support people in teamwork. This includes, for example, "what if we fly", our furniture brand for teamwork, which was awarded for its sustainability, or our cloud tool "flowtomator", which enables remote teams to synchronously clock joint teamwork sessions worldwide. Another example of our development work is the "digital finger"-prototype of remote support for local teams with no affinity for technology, based on an augmented reality approach without data glasses.
The idea behind all these developments: we want our products to inspire people to work together.
In order to build on our initial successes, we are currently looking to significantly strengthen our expertise in the area of digital product development and establish a dedicated department for this purpose.
Deine Aufgaben
As Frontend Developer (f/m/d) with a focus on iOS & web technologies, you will use your expertise in a small development team to ensure that we implement visionary product goals in a technically useful and efficient manner in the front (and back) ends. You analyse which technical platforms are most helpful for our projects. Furthermore, you help us to quickly develop first functional prototypes with little effort by selecting and applying sensible tools and technologies. In this way, you enable us to better understand what the product does or does not need through rapid testing and initial feedback. Depending on the situation, you decide when it's better to use existing libraries and repositories to save our resources, and when we should develop our own code to achieve our goal. Finally, you manage the leap from prototype to a finished solution that is usable and scalable in the long term in a technically elegant way.

What are your skills and interests?
A deep application experience of current (mobile & web) technologies in frontend and first insights into the backend. Keywords like Swift, Kotlin, Ruby On Rails, Node.js or React are not unknown to you and you know at least one a bit better and you have already used design frameworks like Bootstrap and adapted them in detail via (S)CSS. You have already integrated on respective platforms and synchronised them with web services via RESTful APIs. Deployment, hosting, monitoring and bug tracking are topics for which you know different approaches and products and have tried them out in production.
You have gained a lot of experience in tools like GIT/Github and can demonstrate your knowledge from previous projects. Your profile is completed by an understanding of key design principles and experience with responsive and adaptive design.
User-centered thinking and acting is second nature to you. Ideally, you have first experiences in agile software development and are familiar with frameworks such as Scrum, Lean Start-Up, Design Thinking and OKR. You are interested in digital application trends such as smart home, digital twin or augmented reality. You also have strong analytical skills with a keen interest in structuring and organising.
A very good command of written and spoken English (C1) is obligatory. German language skills are an advantage.
